Camp at Marahau 2016

The year 5's from Room 6 joined Room 3 in world famous Abel Tasman National park for four exhilerating days of fun-packed activities, marvellous food and continuous adventure. We had the opportunities to face our fears in the glow-worm caves and heading out on a night walk and the Bhurma trail. Challenging ourselves in assembling tents at Anchorage and a testing 5hr walk in the Tasman heat. We worked collaboratively designing and creating sand castles, palaces and kingdoms. Solving problems through Orienteering, treasure maps and beach activities. We took risks in trying new water sports, trying new foods and spending 4 days away from our families.

I was really proud of the positive attitudes and teamwork demonstrated throughout the week. A huge thankyou goes to all the parents that helped out throughout a hugely exhausting week.
